This book published by the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalonia presents Catalonia as a true exhibition venue for private and public galleries that disseminate the country’s art. This project has been just awarded as the best edition in Art Book of 2018 by the Ministry of Culture of Spain and will represent the country  in the exhibition Best Book Design from all over the World in the Frankfurt Book Fair.

Designed as a route around the galleries from the outside inwards, half the publication has a Japanese binding that encourages readers to discover the contents by separating the pages. They thus literally enter the gallery. The theses texts are distributed diversely in order to offer a broad range of opinions on the idea of the art gallery from critics, gallery owners, collectors, artists and curators.
